Dry Cleaning...

The term dry cleaning itself can be misleading in that; dry cleaning is a cleaning process for clothing and textiles that uses a chemical solvent rather than water. The fact that no water is used is why the term 'dry' is applied.
The chemical solvent that is used during dry cleaning is known as: ' perchloroethylene' (perc) and hence why the symbol P represents dry cleaning.
At CRYSTAL CLEAN we specialise in the dry cleaning of all garments and textiles. To ensure that the garments we receive are returned to our customers to a satisfactory standard the following procedures are taken:

At CRYSTAL CLEAN we specialise in the dry cleaning of all garments and textiles. To ensure that the garments we receive are returned to our customers to a satisfactory standard the following procedures are taken:
- Stains and spots are all pre-treated using special cleaning agents,
- The garments are then put in the computerised dry cleaning machine, in which acts like a washing machine. NB. depending on the garments different cycles are used i.e. delicate cycles for silk garments.
- The garments are then checked for stains after the dry cleaning process and are re-treated and cleaned again if necessary.
- Garments are pressed and bagged for collection.
